Save a portable board
- Choose File > Save or File > Save As and save the board as an .inref file.
- If the board uses live linked folders that must travel with it, use Object > Pack Linked Folders before saving.
- Reopen the saved copy and check the content before moving or sharing it.
What travels with the board
The package keeps supported board media with the editable board. Live links and online services need separate attention: packing a board does not turn an online embed into an offline video.
- Keep the source folder available until you have checked any packed replacement.
- Pack Linked Folders changes live folder contents into portable board content; those objects no longer follow the source folder.
- Check asset licences before sharing a package with other people.
Moving more than one board
A project’s .inrefproject file organises separate board files. Copy the project folder and its boards together, and check any boards or linked sources stored elsewhere. Do not rely on the manifest alone to carry the content.
