Create a project
Use a project when several boards belong to the same piece of work. Project creation is included with Inref.
- Open the + menu beside the board tabs and choose Project.
- Enter the project details in Create Project and choose its location.
- Add and organise the boards that belong to the project.
Understand the project files
A project uses an .inrefproject manifest to organise separate .inref boards. Saving the active board updates that board’s contents; the project keeps track of the collection.
- Give boards clear names so their purpose is apparent in the project.
- Use project folders to organise larger collections.
- When moving the project, keep the manifest and managed board files together and check any external board paths.
Continue working
Open the project again to return to its board collection. Existing projects can still be opened, edited and saved after a licence downgrade; each individual feature retains its own availability requirements.
