Create or open a board
- Choose File > New Board to start an empty board in a document tab.
- To return to existing work, choose File > Open or press Ctrl+O and select the board file.
- To bring another board’s content into the current board, choose File > Append Board.
Build your reference collection
- Drop image files onto the canvas or paste clipboard content with Ctrl+V.
- Arrange references by dragging them, then add notes from Add > Note.
- Use F to frame selected content, or frame the whole board with no objects selected.
Save your board
Press Ctrl+S and choose an .inref filename for a new board. Later saves update that file. Use File > Save As for a separate copy, or File > Export for a PNG result.
- Each board has its own content and save location.
- A project can organise several boards; you do not need a project to use standalone boards.
